Carol Swarbrick (sometimes credited as Carol Swarbrick-Dries, born Maroh 20, 1948) appeared on The Jeffersons as Felicia, an old family accquaintance of Harry Bentley who unwelcomely arrives as his houseguest in the Season 5 episode "Harry's House Guest". In addition to her appearance on The Jeffersons, Carol has made appearances on The Jeffersons short-lived spinoff, Checking In, as Marianne, the popular CBS-TV series The Incredible Hulk and Murder, She Wrote, NBC-TV's Hunter, Night Court, and the early 1990's revived Columbo series, as well as ABC-TV's What's Happening Now, and Two Guys, A Girl and A Pizza Place.
Career[]
Born and raised in Inglewood, CA, a West Los Angeles suburb, Swarbrick got started in theater in high school in Los Angeles, where she was the next to the tallest girl in her class. She loved to sing, and fortunately the school decided to do Once Upon a Mattress. From there she went to UCLA to major in theater arts. As a college sophomore, she was cast in a show that ended up going off Broadway, and she landed in New York City, and began acting in stage productions on and off Broadway. [1] Also, during this time, Carol attended NYU and graduated Cum Laude with a BS in Education. [2] In March 2014, After meeting with former U.S. President Jimmy Carter and his wife, former First Lady Rosalynn, in Sequim, WA, Carol performed the one-woman show “Lilly” twice on the peninsula as a
Reader’s Theatre Plus fundraiser. She’s currently in discussion with a Seattle producer and director to take the project to the next level. [3]
