Lionel's loan on a new home does not go through; therefore, George, Louise, Tom and Helen secretly go to the banker behind each other's backs to co-sign the loan.
Lionel and Jenny are excited with the news that they're trying to purchase a home. However, when Lionel called his banker to make arrangements to show George, Louise, Tom and Helen the new home, he was informed that his loan didn't go through. Although George and the others all want to help Lionel and Jenny, Lionel is adamant that they will try to get the loan approved without intervention, as he makes George, Tom, Helen and Louise promise that they will not interfere. But George, Louise, Helen and Tom, not being able to resist, each go down to the bank to help them get one, after each other anyway, this after promising not to interfere.
