(Season 2 premiere)
Jenny's Low was the 13th episode of The Jeffersons TV series, also the final episode of Season 1. Directed by Jack Shea and written by John Ashby, it made its premiere on CBS-TV on April 12, 1975.
Jenny gets jealous when her globe-trotting brother Allan returns from Europe because he is able to "pass" as white while she can't.
Jenny gives her brother Allan an ice-cold reception when he suddenly appears after a two-year absence. George is the only one who understands Jenny's strange behavior and, unfortunately, he makes no bones about saying no. Andrew Rubin originates the role of Allan in this episode, which also marks the debut of the recurring role of Charlie the Bartender, owner of Charlie's Bar, played throughout the duration of the rest of the series by Danny Wells.
