George's upcoming appearance on a local TV public affairs talk show is put in serious jeopardy when the shows ultra-patriotic host, Jack Pomeroy, who is revealed to he and Louise to be a flag-waving, xenophobic bigot, learns that George is sponsoring a Cuban refugee, a guy named Hector, who works in one of his cleaning stores. Needless to say, it doesn't take long for George to do the usual to those who offend him or his family, he throws the intolerant, bigoted Pomeroy out on his ear, and elects to help Hector get his wish, to become a naturalized citizen!
