Louise is planning a surprise party for George's 50th birthday and has invited all his friends to meet up at the Willis for the party. Meanwhile, George gets the idea to throw a birthday party for himself and finds all his friends refusing to attend; this leads him to wallow in Charlie's bar.
It is George's 50th birthday and he is expecting a nice, quiet night out at dinner with Louise. However, Louise planned a surprise party with family and friends of George's to be in attendance at the Willis' apartment. While visiting Charlie's bar, George tells him that he will be spending a quiet dinner with Louise to celebrate his birthday; however, Charlie gave George the idea that spending a milestone birthday with friends would be better.
