Florence in Love was the 48th overall episode of The Jeffersons TV series, also the 11th episode of Season 3. Directed by Jack Shea and written by Richard Freeman and Stephen Young from an original story by Paul M. Belous and Robert Wolterstoff, the episode made its premiere on CBS-TV on December 15, 1976.
Synopsis[]
Furious when the Jeffersons forbid her to let her boyfriend stay overnight, Florence quits her job - to the distress of Louise and the delight of George.
Storyline[]
Florence brings home a man she has been seeing and did not tell George and Louise. When they discovered the man in their kitchen, he was taken for as a burglar. After Florence tells George and Louise that he was her date, they get into an argument about uninvited guests and Florence's work habits. Infuriated, Florence quits her job; however, having discovered later that the man she has been dating is actually married, she plans to "change her ways" in order to get her job back.
